Minute Reflection --All is Mind

Everything -- absolutely everything -- that happens in our lives has a spiritual cause. Events on all other levels -- mental, emotional and physical -- are only effects.

When we are struggling with any challenge, whether it be ill health, a lack of money, a lost job, relationships, an accident, whatever -- we need to look for the spiritual learning. We can ask ourselves, "What quality does my soul want me to live more fully?"

"If you start to think the problem is ‘out there,’ stop yourself. That thought is the problem."

My reflection on Psalms:
Psalm 16
Keep me safe O God for in you I take refuge I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing. As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight. The sorrow of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up the names on my lips. Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup, you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places, surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord who counsels me even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices, my body also will rest secure because you will not abandon me to the grave nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

This chapter reminds me of putting my complete confidence in the Lord. The first line opens up with a declarative statement of confidence to a trustworthy God. Followed by self realizations of the unworthiness of a human soul without God.. Life with its ups and downs can be very confusing, tiring and endless toil of restlessness….As believers we are not spare to experience the effects of our fallen world. But amidst all these life is still beautiful and worth living because we have a faithful God who dispose our lives not by chance nor according to how we do well in working hard on it, but by a loving hand and divinely wisdom directs each course with the best interest in mind to give what is best and carve every minute details to produce a beautiful person in us who will reflect a beautiful God. We have hope in the Lord… LORD let me rejoice in the best portion you had allotted for me-your loving hands filled me in…thus my cup runneth over…sheltered by an awesome God so I am and my lot is secure-no one can take it away from me…YOU WILL SEE ME THROUGH….THROUGH it all….I AM COMPLETE…for YOU WILL MAKE ME SO…… I will remain in you for unless I am with you life will be meaningless…you are my joy-in you alone I will find pleasure for you are my world…

Shadow Shot Sunday: 1st Entry " Tripping"

Scenic Sunday:(3rd Entry) " Bohol Island"

These pictures taken during our mission at Bohol Island.

My Personal Testimony

Looking back on my younger years, I could say that my life was really great…I had a wonderful family who loved me so much. I really thought that there’s nothing more in my life that I could ask for. All were fine for me. Everything was perfect on my own understanding. But when my grandfather died, things changed. My family really experienced serious hardship. If only my father didn’t die early, we wouldn’t experience all of those. My parents hopelessly did all their best with their desire that all of us could finish our studies. But their best was never enough so they decided and allowed me to study here in Cagayan De Oro City where I live at present. My other sisters and brothers lived with my parents and another one lived with my relatives.

Living in this City was and is never regret because I received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in this City at the age of 18 and I was in my second year in college that time. My aunt Noemi shared to me about Jesus and His love—that God has a wonderful plan for me. Not only did things change but my life also changed since that time. Slowly God revealed to me His wonderful plan and purpose. God is really too wise to be mistaken and too good to be unkind. Since that time, I realized how I needed Christ. He’s the most important thing that happened in my life.

I am so happy to have eternal life, a sound mind, and a loving heart. He cares for me and accepts me for who I am and what I have and I am now in close personal relationship with God. Because of His continuing mercy and love, until now I’m serving Him through the talents He has blessed me.
Thank you and I want to bring back all the Praises and Glory to our God!

Shoot Me: 2nd Entry " My Hands".

Forever In Blue Jeans

I have two hands,
the left and the right,
Hold them up high so clean and bright,
Clap them softly...1 2 3..
Clean two hands are good to see.

Hehehe this is the song that I used to sing when I was still young.
I love this song so much. When I'll have my own family,I will surely teach my children about this song.

Beautiful Friendship #3

I met this woman through Vanizh( Her best friend). I’m so thankful to God that I have met her.We had a lot of bonding moments the two of us. May it be in a serious date talk or just a fun date.I knew her well because she opened her life to me.I know her secrets. That's why I'm so proud and I want to share my beautiful friendship with this woman (above photos) Her name is Marilou. She’s a woman of faith...every decisions, plans and ambitions possible must be in accordance to God’s will not her will. She wouldn’t be successful until this time if she did it with her own. I salute her for being so zealous in serving God through sharing the gospel to other countries. She has the heart for mission. I considered her as one of my best buds in the church, my prayer partner. If I have personal problems, I can share to her directly with no apprehensions. I really appreciate her for being so thoughtful in her own way. Hmmm…I miss her so much now… I love you girl! She’s now working abroad.

Beautiful Friendship #1

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

Being with this woman (my friend Leah)you will surely find joy and comforts. She loves to laugh and she never talks about things that would make the day dull and boring. She's so funny not because of her face ( making funny faces)but its the substance of her story and the way she delivers it.Though she admits that she's not good in telling stories...that makes her more interesting!:) I really love this woman and I miss being with her.

Beautiful Friendship #2

This woman beside me is a closest friend of mine. Her name is Che( short for Cherlita). I’ve known her as a strong woman and so passionate with her work whether be in office or in church. I do believe there's  more about her…I’ll find that out…This one thing I’ve noticed, that everytime I’m with her whether  a planned date or just a normal  conversations... things will just flow smoothly, we can talk very long but we never get tired... Amazing right?Another thing, she’s true to what she says…When she says YES, it’s really a YES to her and then when she says NO...It’s really a NO to her...a woman of her word. I learned a lot from her. Hmmm... but lately I saw her crying…I was really so amazed for really that was my first time  to see her like that. Naturally, all women are like that sometimes...can’t control the emotions when provoked to anger or to a situation with so much pressure on it.  But the kind of personality Che has…I can boldly say that she’s really a great woman. So blessed that I became one of her friends. Being her friend is never a regret…but a treasure to keep.
